According to the latest information available, CSA 2010 will be implemented nationwide in 2010. Full implementation, however, has been delayed. FMCSA, in the next few weeks, will provide an updated timeline for implementation of CSA 2010. The only aspect of CSA 2010 that will not be implemented until later in 2010 is the new methods of taking enforcement action. In any case, there is little time left to prepare, so it is important to make every effort to be ready for the new safety enforcement program.
A rollout schedule has been annouced for CSA 2010.
